Sonoma Coast
Bei Ranch is situated half-way between Cazadero and Russian Gulch where the redwoods meet the vines and the Sonoma Coast rainforest supplies pure spring water for irrigation. Hot summer days, fog cooled nights. Bei Ranch Sonoma Coast Cabernet is single vineyard, cool climate, hand picked mountain grown fruit, 100% Cab-nothing blended, native indigenous yeast, minimal manipulation, foot stomped, 1/2 destemed, 1/2 stemmed, aged in 100% French Oak for 22 to 30 months depending on year. Low alcohol. Small production wines. Sulfur, the only additive in Cazadero wine, 25 Parts Per Million which qualifies it as a clean wine. The Bei Ranch Chardonnay is from the same vineyard. AVA for the Bei Ranch Vineyard right below Pole Mountain Fire Lookout originally planted in 1990 by John Bei, True Sonoma Coast. It’s 1/2 way between Cazadero and Russian Gulch north of Jenner.
