Bei Ranch is situated below Pole Mountain Fire Lookout, half-way between Cazadero and Russian Gulch, where the redwoods meet the vines and the Sonoma Coast rainforest supplies pure spring water for irrigation. Hot summer days, fog cooled nights.
“Subtle green golden straw color. Nose of meyer lemon custard, orange blossom, and a hint of pear. The palate opens with lemon verbina flavors, mid-palate stone fruits of yellow peach and white plum. There is a minerality mid to the finish of the palate. White fish, halibut, scallops and poultry, oysters on the half shell or rich soft-ripened cheese would all pair well with this elegant chardonnay. Enjoy now through 2033 if properly cellared, this food wine is crafted to age.”
