Vintage Notes: 2024 was a great vintage. We had a very cool spring with a slightly delayed budbreak and bloom. June helped hurry everything up with some high heat days but the weather evened out after that and all the way through harvest. The days were quite warm but the nights were nice and cool so we had even ripening and nice flavor development.
Tasting Notes: Our 2024 Chardonnay has beautiful aromas of lightly roasted hazelnuts, almond and peach blossom, white peach nectar and a hint of vanilla bean. The palate is juicy and lush with tons of white peach notes and creamy lemon chiffon cake. The finish is balanced between juicy white and yellow fruit notes lingering, a touch of citrus and delicate yellow floral notes. The creaminess and texture on the palate provide a nice layer of complexity contrasted with the citrus notes as well. This is a delicious Chardonnay to enjoy now or for the next five or more years.
