The Vineyard of Sonoma Ag Art, Catie’s Corner, is in the heart of the Historic Agricultural Growing Lands of the Russian River in Windsor, CA. The 10 acre Chardonnay vineyard was planted in 2007 with Robert Young Clone 17, the soil is Huichica Loam. The vineyard is blessed with warm sunny days, late afternoon breezes from the Russian River and cool, often foggy nights and mornings.
Stone fruit, ripe melon, some roasted hazelnut, peach blossom, orange rind. Very nice aromatically. Palate is very ripe peach with wet slate minerality and lemon zest. Good balance of texture and acidity.
