Fort Ross-Seaview American Viticultural Area (AVA) is defined by its elevation and proximity to the Pacific Ocean and is located in Northwestern Sonoma County. The Parmeter Vineyard sits at 1800 feet above sea level on King Ridge Road. The elevation, mountainous rugged terrain and proximity to the Pacific Ocean offer the perfect mix of sunshine, cool air and beneficial stress for Chardonnay to thrive.
“Light straw color. Nose of lemon, lime zest, floral with hints of wild sage. On the front of the palate of this dry chardonnay is subtle spearmint, quince apple and kumquat leading to green papaya mid-palate. A great pairing for ceviche, salmon poke, or an aged gouda with apples, almonds and honey. There is an elegant acidity that never overwhelms the palate. Enjoy now through 2027.”
